A year ago i totally lost vision in my eyes due to Diabetes,it all happened so fast.Having heard stories of other people having suffered the same i totally lost hope in regaining my vision. My first appointment with Dr zia Carrim,he couldn't guarantee i would be avle to see at all after operations but still he wanted to give it a try.having thought the process will be slow,my father was planning on goong privately for my eye treatment but Dr Zia Carrim couldn't have done it any quicker. My first operation took place within 2 weeks, and under 3 months i underwent 3 major eye operations, also regained my sight.Dr Zia Carrim took my problem as his.and with such confidence, hard work, and the speed within the full process i would not have regained my vision.i am so thankful to Dr Zia Carrim, friendly, full of confidence, and such a committed consultant.i would recommend him to all with eye issues to get seen my Dr Zia Carrim

A year ago i totally lost my vision due to Diabetes,it all happened so quick and coincidently my father considered a check up at St James Hospital. We were thinking of wasting no time and going private, but Dr Zia Carrim took me on straight away and saw my problem as his.Within a week i underwent a major eye operation,at the time nobody could guarantee my eye sight gain, but with Dr Zia Carrim's super fantastic hard work i have gained my vision back.I cannot thank him enough, without Dr Zia Carrim's confidence, hard commitment, and speed of process i would not have regained my vision.I definitely would recommend this Doctor, without a second thought go to him.Super fantastic and spot on with his work

Please read my commentaries (father in law having retina into pieces) on the Eye clinic . But on Dr Carrim himself - he is a passionate person and is so attentive to his patients that you will need to experience it to believe that such a Dr ever exists. I do not wish anyone to see him that much, because if ever you need too - this can be in such a traumatic sequence of events sometime - like you have lost our sight. The stress around events like this cannot be under - estimated, having experienced it first hand with my in law. But rest assured that from the 1st appointment onwards you will feel and be in safe hands. I can only relate to just one instance (among many) where he just showed his authenticity and care for his patient. It was a couple of days post the successful operation of repairing the retina, but the IOP was still very high. Dr was not happy with the situation and left no stone to ensure my father in law stays on the safe side. Despite Dr's very busy schedule he made was to see my in law on a Friday then again an the Saturday as he was flying out on the Sunday. The clinic is closed on Sunday - despite his flight- he opened the clinic on the Sunday to have another check of the high IOP situation!!! He went beyond and personally made arrangement personally with another Dr to followUp my in law during his absence. Even while away he was reachable and following up... Truely amazing. This is when you will understand the words Safe Hands or Great Care. Dr Carrim you are the new generation of Doctors unfortunately so few but heartwarming that you exercise your job with such authenticity. If the was an Oscar of the Best Doctor - I would give it to you many many times just to be able to thank you , still that will not be enough.
